So after getting the basic infrastructure for taking notes using open source alternatives in place: Running on a Digital Ocean droplet, I’m using NextCloud and Joplin for note taking/synchronization across my devices.
Like I said yesterday, I can see the potential for helping me catalog, extract, organize, and distill the information I’m ingesting on a daily basis. Hell it’ll probably help me ingest more as well as make practical use of it.
So the next step is to get an article reader, I’m looking to FOSS alternatives to Instapaper and Pocket.
So far Wallabag looks like something to spin up and try. Here goes nothing I suppose.
